Complete CAM sensor trigger kit m20, m30, m88
Kit contains 2 different sensor mounts so it can work with a great variety of commonly available HALL and VR type sensors from BMW to Merc and even some Ford and Mazda.
Kit also come with 2 different trigger options. The single tooth plate is specially designed to work with HALL or VR sensors. Using a VR sensor will enable the engine to run in full sequential mode using a stand alone ECU while still retaining all the factory m20 /m30 wiring harness!!
The multi-slot disc has 24-1 tooth configuration. This can be installed so that a crank trigger is NOT even needed!! Similar to the Nissan CAS style ignition systems. This will require a stand alone ECU that can incorporate this type of signal but most leading ECU brands will have no problem.
We all know how difficult it is to find the toothed motronic damper pulley these days so the 24-1 trigger can be used for stand alone installations to early engines that don't have the toothed damper. Even though this is not considered as good as a direct crank trigger in the real world this has been well proven to work extremely well and still provide very accurate ignition timing. For this configuration using a HALL sensor is highly recommended but it will also work with VR sensors.
